Installation in four steps
Close Revit
The installer writes files into the add-ins folder — Revit must be closed.
Run the installer
Open the downloaded file and confirm the launch. Windows may warn about an unknown publisher — that is normal for new applications.
Accept the agreement and press “Install”
There is no need to pick Revit versions: the plugin is installed for every version from 2021 to 2027 at once, and the right build is loaded automatically.
Open Revit
The Lumber Optimizer button appears on the SDM Dev tab. Done.
