The data controller is SDM Dev — a developer of software for design engineering, owner of the sdmdev.pro website and of the Lumber Optimizer add-in.

Contact form data: name, email address, subject and message body. Used solely to answer your message.

License data: the email address provided at purchase, the license key, the plan and the expiry date.

A technical computer fingerprint when a PRO license is activated: CPU identifier, motherboard serial number, disk serial number, network adapter MAC address and the Windows security identifier. These values are stored in a form sufficient for comparison and are used only to verify that the license runs on a single machine.

Technical download information: IP address and the version of the downloaded file — for distribution statistics.

The add-in never sends the content of your Revit models, geometry, project names, files or any project data to the server. The cutting calculation runs entirely on your computer.

We do not collect payment card data. Payments are handled by an external payment provider that processes payment details on its own side.

Data may be processed by infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery, payment provider) strictly to the extent required for the service to operate.

You may request a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, and withdraw your consent to processing. Send the request through the contact form.

Deleting license data means the license can no longer be restored or transferred to another computer.

The website uses only technical cookies and browser local storage — to remember the selected interface language and the administrator session. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on the site.

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. We will additionally announce material changes on the website.
